In 2015, the Pew Research Center found that 64% of American adults owned a smartphone of some likable, happening from 35% in 2011. What Texting Teaches Us

This is an interesting example of what makes computer-mediated associations interesting. The reasons people are compelled to tackle their text messageseven at risk to their own health and safetyarent high-production values, as a consequences-called plentiful media, or the danger of the feature set.

Texting, and tallying forms of social media, tap into something very primitive in the human brain. These systems pay for always-easy to use social association. The brevity and unpredictability of the messages themselves triggers the pardon of dopamine that motivates seeking actions and keeps people coming plus for more.
